DEFINITIONS:
Weight: This is the weight of one square yard of fabric. For example; a 6 oz. t-shirt will be a little thicker and heavier than a 5 oz.
Singles: The number of cotton threads within a square inch of fabric. Similar to thread counts in sheets, the higher the number, the softer the shirt. Because the threads are thinner the shirt fabric is thinner and lighter weight
Ringspun: A process where cotton threads are twisted and thinned while being made. This results in a finer and softer fabric when it is woven together.

BASIC
5 - 5.4 oz Cotton or 50/50 Cotton/Poly Blend 18-20 Singles Over 70 colors in cotton Over 40 colors in 50/50 Sizes S-6XL These are labelled as "Heavyweight" but they are actually the lightest weight t-shirt. These would be suitable for bussers or servers. |
STANDARD
6 - 6.1 oz. 100% Cotton 18-20 Singles Over 60 colors Sizes S-6XL These would be a step up (a little heavier) for bussers or servers would also be suitable for retail sales. |
RINGSPUN
4.3 - 6.1 OZ. 100% Cotton and Cotton/Poly Blends 18-40 Singles These can be a sturdy shirt such as the Beefy-T which is 6.1 oz., 100% Cotton and 18 Singles or a lightweight cooler 4.3 oz., cotton/poly blend and 30 singles. The cotton/poly blends have moisture wicking properties as well which make them dry faster and keep the person cooler. These would be more suitable for both servers and higher end retail sales. |
TRI-BLEND
3.5 - 4 OZ. Varying percentages of Ringspun Cotton, Polyester and Rayon. 32 - 40 Singles The rayon adds more give and softness to the fabric making these the most comfortable to wear. Because of the poyester and rayon these have moisture wicking properties as well. These would be the top of the line for servers and retail sales. |
